This micro-media initiative, which launched in July 2026, is an ever-growing living archive of short videos, where the Members of Carmarthenshire People First, and the wider LD community in West Wales, talk about their own lives, in their own words - helping us to understand what it is truly like to have a cognitive difference in the 21st century.CPF LOUD & CLEAR is where Members share their own experiences - the things they're proud of, what they think & how they feel and what they want people to understand about learning disabilities, autism and cognitive difference. Some videos offer helpful tips, others celebrate everyday successes, some provide valuable insights while others challenge common clichés & misunderstandings.Every video is a real story, told in the real voice of the person who lives it.
Because when people speak in their own words, their voices carry LOUD & CLEAR.

HOW TO FILM & UPLOAD YOUR OWN VIDEO
It's really easy to make & share your own video for CPF LOUD & CLEAR - just follow these 5 steps:
1. 🤳| Film your selfie video - use your phone camera. Hold your phone upright.2. 👀 Watch it back - make sure you're happy with it and that we can see & hear you clearly.3. |📱| Scan the QR Code - point your phone / reader at the QR Code. It will open an online folder.4. ⬆️ Upload your video - tap the big green button and choose your video. Give it time to upload fully.5. ✅ Done!
If you need any help, or you're unsure about anything, just ask a member of CPF staff.
Your uploaded video will be edited & included in the films we'll be sharing online over the coming months.
